Notice is hereby given that MEADOWS STONE & PAVING, INC., PO BOX 10, GASSAWAY, WV 26624 has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q200795 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1150, in order to remove Limestone by conducting quarry oerations.
The operation is discharging into an unnamed tributary of Elkwater Fork of the Tygart Valley River, Monongahela River and located 2 miles, East of MONTERVILLE in MINGO District of Randolph County. Longitude 80* 04′ 44″ and Latitude 38* 32′ 38″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor ay the DEP address above until May 2, 2021, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
