Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the Secure Entrance Renovations for Mineral Wells Elementary and Greenmont Elementary project. Work at Greenmont Elementary shall include, but not limited to the following: Construction of new entrance, partition walls, security windows, etc. Relocation and/or addition of access control, infrastructure, utilities, and lights, as required and as shown on drawings. Work at Mineral Wells Elementary shall include, but not limited to the following: Construction of new entrance and associated construction, new partition walls, new doors, new casework, new restroom facilities, and new flooring. Relocation and/or addition of access control, infrastructure, utilities, and lights, as required and as shown on drawings. Bidding documents will be available at www.pickeringplanroom.com. Electronic bid documents will be provided at no cost and hard copies can be purchased for the cost of printing. Mandatory pre-bid meetings will be held on April 22, 2021 at the following times and locations: the first meeting will be held at 3:30 pm at Mineral Wells Elementary School located at 1776 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, WV 26150. The second meeting will be held at 4:30 pm at Greenmont Elementary School located at 209 58th Street, Vienna, WV 26105. Bids will be due at 12:00 pm on May 7, 2021, in care of Mr. Brandin Wharton at the Wood County Board of Education at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
