MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Mikes Run PL 2021 Sale is located within Pocahontas County, 25 miles North of Bartow, WVin theHeadwaters of Mikes Run. The Forest Service will receive sealed bidsby mail or courier service only. Bid results will be publicly posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber website as soon as practical after bid opening. Mail bids to Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241, ATTN: Mikes Run PL 2021 Timber Sale. Bids shall be postmarked and received prior to 2:00 PM local time on 05/18/2021. There is an estimated volume of 1056 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 535CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 325 CCF of Hardwood – Other (BI, Bass, Cuc, Mag) sawtimber, and1361 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. Sale contains specified roadswith an estimated public works construction cost of $94,719.98.Bidders qualifying as small businessconcerns under the Small Business Act may, when submitting a bid, elect for the Forest Service to buildpermanent roads. Additional information concerning this option is in the prospectus. The Forest Servicereserves the right to reject any and all bids.
