The Wood County Board of Education will be selling by public auction the real property located at 2500 36th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26104 (Worthington School). The property has three lots recorded in the deed book 506 at page 483, district 5, map 34, parcel 37; deed book 504 at page 346, district 5, map 34, parcel 44; deed book 504 at page 346, district 5, map 34, parcel 45. This sale does not include the baseball fields, playground, or the basketball court recorded in the deed book 504 at page 346, district 5, map 34, parcel B. Terms of the sale are 20% of the purchase price by cash or check with a bank letter in hand on the day of the sale with the remainder due at closing. Minimum bid applies. The property is conveyed in as is condition with no covenants of warranty, subject to unpaid property taxes. Purchaser shall pay all costs of recording the deed as prepared by the Wood County Board of Education. The Wood County Board of Education reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.
