PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the an ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was duly passed upon first reading at a regular meeting of the Rainelle Town Council on November 23, 2015. It will be further considered for final passage and adoption, after public hearing thereon, at a regular meeting of said Town Council to be held at the Rainelle Town Hall on December 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. A copy of the full ordinance may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s office in Rainelle Town Hall. The summary of the terms are as follows: Title: AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH MUNICIPAL SERVICE FEES Summary: The public health, safety, comfort and general welfare of the citizens and residents of the Town requires the continual maintenance, and improvement of municipal services including police protection, street maintenance, and stream restoration. It is the intention of Town Council that these services be continued, maintained and improved by the town in part, at the charge and expense of the owners and occupiers of buildings and structures of every kind and nature within the Town, which owner are declared to be the users and beneficiaries of such municipal services as contemplated by West Virginia Code 8-13-13. There is hereby levied, imposed and assessed upon owners of all residential, commercial, industrial, governmental and other buildings of every kind and nature, regardless of types of construction or use, a municipal service fee as follows: (a) Single Family Residential Build: $5.00 per month (b) Multiple-Family Dwelling Building: $5.00 per unit per month (c) Non-residential Building: $7.50 per unit per month All fees will be designated as follows: 20{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} for police protection; 40{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} for street maintenance; and 40{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} for stream restoration.
