Ritchie County Commission will be accepting bids for the following project: Demolition of the Ritchie County Sheriff’s Office Building. Project includes but may not be limited to the demolition of a single-story structure constructed of concrete slab-on-grade, concrete walls with brick veneer and a concrete roof. Originally designed as a jail, some or all interior walls are concrete. Also included is demolition of exterior wood stairs, a wood framed garage behind the main building, and concrete sidewalks on the property. Site shall be backfilled, graded, and seeded. A metal carport on-site is to be removed and relocated to another location approximately 350 yards east of the site, on the same street. Electronic bid documents are available at www.pickeringplanroom.com at no cost. A mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held on July 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at the project location at 109 E. North Street, Harrisville, WV 26362. Bids will be due at 1:30 pm on August 5, 2021 at the Ritchie County Court House, Room 201, 115 E. Main Street, Harrisville, WV 26362, at which time and place a public bid
