AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that DuPont Specialty Products USA, LLC, has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality for a Modification Permit to install new extruder, associated extruder equipment, and an update to increase the capacity of the site-wide R13-2617 air permit located at 8480 DuPont Road, Washington, WV 26181, in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.268257, -81.668679.
The applicant estimates the increased potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: 3.84 TPY of particulate less than 10 microns (PM10), 20.10 of particulate matter (PM), 7.14 TPY of volatile organic compounds, and 4.32 TPY of total Hazardous Air Pollutants, 5.50 TPY of formaldehyde, 1.74 TPY of carbon monoxide (CO), 0.06 TPY of acetaldehyde, 0.12 TPY acrylonitrile, and 0.06 TPY of benzene.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of October, 2021. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, West Virginia 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
