of solid waste and rental of dumpsters in Morgan County.
NOTICE OF FILING
On February 6, 2026, Pentoney Brothers Contracting, LLC, filed an application with the West Virginia Public Service Commission under West Virginia Code
§ 24A-2-5 for a certificate of public convenience and necessity —
To operate as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of solid. waste using dumpster roll offs from points and places in
Morgan County, in West Virginia to places of disposal in West Virginia.
RATES: DUMPSTER ROLL-OFF RENTALS
(a) Residential rentals for seven days -Morgan County
15-yard dumpster rental -$400.00 with 2 tons allowed
30-yard dumpster rental -$650.00 with 3 tons allowed
40-yard dumpster rental -$750.00 with 4 tons allowed
Any rentals over the tonnage allowed will be charged an additional $50.00 per ton.
Any rentals over the seven-day period will be charged an additional $20.00 per day dumpster rental.
The charge for exchanging the dumpster is $300.00, plus customer pays $50.00 per ton for the tonnage for the additional dumpsters.
(b) Long-term on-site rentals for construction sites, Morgan County
$300.00 a month rental, plus $300.00 to exchange the dumpsters
and $50.00 per ton to take the waste to the landfill.
Anyone affected by or opposed to the application must object, in writing, file a letter of protest or seek intervenor status in this matter within ten days of this publication. All such letters must be addressed to: Karen Buckley, Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. 0. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. If no written protests or objections to the application are received by the Commission within ten days, the Commission may waive formal hearing and grant the application based upon its review of information submitted with the application.
