NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

SERVICE
CASE NO. 14-1802-MC-19A
On October 22, 2014, Michael E. Taylor, dba Quality Sanitation Service, filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, an application requesting increased rates and charges for the transportation of trash, rubbish and garbage in Wood County.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and has recommended that the Applicant’s residential rate be increased from $13.72 to $16.00 per month, a $16.62{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} increase, and its recycling rate be increased from $3.00 to $3.50 per month, a 16.67{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} increase.
Any person affected by these changes has a right to protest or to be heard as to why the Staff-recommended rates should not be approved. Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. 0. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.
Protests must be specific as to the reasons that the changed rates and charges should not be approved and anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest. If no substantial protest is received, the Commission may approve the Staff-recommended rates without a hearing.
