REQUEST FOR ARCHITECT/ ENGINEER STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS Pursuant to West Virginia Code 5G-1-3 and the requirements of the School Building Authority of WV (SBA), the Taylor County Board of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide professional Architectural / Engineering services for the following: 1. Taylor County Schools SBA NEEDS FY2026 project, HVAC Replacement at Grafton High School, as funded by the School Building Authority of West Virginia. 2. Any emergency projects due to water, fire, and weather. 3. As funds become available for non-SBA-funded work, Taylor County Schools is interested in provisions for architectural and engineering services toward fulfillment of building and ground renovation, additions and upgrades. This commitment will be re-evaluated on an annual basis but could be for up to three (3) years for county-funded projects 4. Any other SBA funded project not listed to be advertised upon funding. Statements of Qualifications must be received no later than December 4, 2025 by 3:00 p.m. local prevailing time via mail. In accordance with the requirements of WV Code 5G-1-3, these statements will be evaluated, and the county will conduct discussions with at least three firms that are deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. The Taylor County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed to be in its best interest in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-3.
