REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Greenbrier County Commission is seeking sealed bids on the demolition of two private dwellings, (1) in Ronceverte, (1) in Rainelle area. Said dwellings have been purchased by the Greenbrier County Commission through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and are scheduled to be torn down. The project includes asbestos abatement of one structure, the removal of all debris from said demolition, and landscaping following the demolition. A pre-bid conference will be held on June 26, 2018, 9:00am, GCHSEM office, 171 Arbuckle Ln, Maxwelton. All interested contractors, or their representatives, must be present to be eligible to bid. Bids will be accepted at the Greenbrier County Commission office until 4:30pm, July 9, 2018. All bids submitted will be opened at the Commission meeting at 10 am July 10, 2018. If a bid is awarded, all work must be completed within 60 days. The Greenbrier County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract and other related documents will be available at the pre-bid conference. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days after the date of the bid opening.
