REQUEST FOR BID The Raleigh County Commission is seeking sealed bid cost estimates for roof repairs to the Raleigh County 4-H Building located at the 4-H Camp on 4-H Lake Road in Daniels, WV, and the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building located on South Kanawha Street in Beckley, WV. The services to be performed include, at a minimum, the following: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building Roof: Remove and dispose of old through wall scuppers and surrounding roof membrane material Fabricate and install new scuppers and collector boxes Furnish and install new downspouts at two new header boxes Remove roof material and repair/replace flashing as needed Service penetration pockets with pourable sealer sealant Perform maintenance to wall flashing on rear low roof Raleigh County 4-H Camp Roof: Remove and dispose of roof membrane material Install new insulation and cover board Install tapered insulation and tapered edge to contour intersection to promote drainage Install new downspouts, roof drains, and drain lines where needed For additional information contact Jeff Raines, County Administrator at (304) 255-9146.
