REQUEST FOR BIDS
Fairmont State University will accept sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for JAYNES HALL HVAC RENOVATIONS at Fairmont State University, 1201 Locust Avenue, Fairmont WV.
Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on February 25, 2016. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud in Physical Plant Conference Room, Fairmont State.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held:

All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification.
A certified check in the amount of five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the contract award.
All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with WV § Chapter 21, Article 11. All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. An executed WV Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit and Purchasing Affidavit must be included in the proposal.

All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Architect. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, by check, in the amount of $150.00 per set. Send request to:
