Demolition of Memorial and Whitethorn Elementary Schools
The Mercer County Board of Education requests bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for the demolition of Memorial Elementary, 319 Memorial Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701 and Whitethorn Elementary, 1919 Maryland Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701. The awarded vendor will be responsible for the demolition and disposal of the building and contents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. beginning at Memorial Elementary and continuing to Whitethorn Elementary. A current WV contractor’s license and certificate of insurance are required. Other bid requirements are detailed in the bid package and copies of the bid package will be distributed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting only. Bids will be opened and read aloud February 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
