REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NUMBER WVSOM-15-P-018 (RFP) WVSOM CONSULTANT West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Board of Governors on behalf of WVSOM located at 400 North Lee Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901 is soliciting Request for Proposals for a qualified individual to act as Owners (WVSOM) Consultant to support the President and the WVSOM Foundation in activities that promote WVSOM, its faculty and students, to meet the Mission Statement of WVSOM. The individual shall provide support for the Foundation Executive Director to formulate and execute planned giving program; Work with constituent groups within the School; Provide assistance in developing and accomplishing the WVSOM and WVSOM Foundation strategic plans; Contact and confer with members of Legislature, business and community leaders to gather information and seek potential opportunities for WVSOM. Assist with other projects at the direction of the President. All interested individuals shall provide evidence of successful experience and/or education in the development and implementation of strategic plans, planned giving programs and development programs. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about January 23, 2015. Sealed proposals must be received by the WVSOM Contracts Department, 400 North Lee Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901, Room 221 no later than 3:30 p.m. (EST) on February 10, 2015, as required in accordance with the RFP. Proposals received after this date and time will not be opened or considered for award. All proposals must be submitted on the RFP Proposal Document forms as required in accordance with the RFP.
