REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Elevator Maintenance Service The Mercer County Board of Education invites proposals to provide elevator maintenance services at fourteen locations as required by West Virginia Code 21-3C, the Elevator Safety Act, as administered by the Division of Labor. All bidders must submit a copy of their contractor’s license as required by Chapter 21 of the West Virginia Code. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract, comply with all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation laws and provide evidence of insurance coverage to the minimum limits required by the contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals. Other requirements are detailed in the proposal package.
