REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SCHOOL SECURITY SERVICES
The Mercer County Board of Education, Princeton, West Virginia, requests proposals from licensed security guard companies to provide unarmed guards for day and evening school security services at 10 local schools. The contract currently requires 13 full-time and 4 part-time guards daily. Other duties include work corresponding with the school calendar, sporting events and part-time work at some locations as needed. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract with the Board and provide evidence of insurance coverage to the minimum limits required by the contract documents. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals for at least ninety days. Other requirements are detailed in the request for proposals package. Proposal responses will be opened June 14, 2019, 2:00 p.m., conference room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
