SEALED BIDS
The City of Mannington is currently accepting sealed bids for the paving of Northview Road. The project will be done according to WV DOH specifications for performance and material with composition requirements. The City will clean the specified streets and treat pre-emergent plants. The project will consist of a one and one-half inch base asphalt and one and one- half inch wearing course asphalt. Approximately 530 tons of asphalt will be used to complete this project. Interested contractors should contact Ted Nice at 304-365-3733. The bids must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on June 1, 2020 and will be opened that evening during the regular council meeting. The paving project is to be completed on or before November 30, 2020. Insurance, bonding and a city license will be required. The City of Mannington reserves the rights to reject any or all bids.
