NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES
Case No. 24-0822-S-19A
On October 21, 2024, the Cacapon South Utility Association, Inc, a public utility, filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia an application requesting increased rates and charges for furnishing sewer service to 110 customers at Cacapon South and Oakland Overlook subdivisions in the County of Morgan.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and has recommended increased rates and charges to produce approximately $16,164 annually in additional revenue, an increase of 35.58%. The present rate is as follows:

Flat Rate: $450.93 per year
The Staff recommended rate is as follows:

Flat Rate: $611.37 per year
The average annual bill for customers would change as follows:

There are no resale customers of this Utility.
Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so in writing within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, PO Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323. Protests may be submitted via electronic mail to [email protected]. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as the reasons that the changed rate and charges should be modified. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest.
If no hearing is demanded, the Commission may affirm the proposed rates without a hearing.
