Building Permit in Morgan County*
The Following Applies to
Commercial and Residential Building Permits
• If you are building any type of structure on your property. Examples are houses, additions, sheds, garages, decks, porches, pools or a concrete pad.
• If you are putting any pre-built structures on your property. Examples are modulars, double-wides, mobile homes, sheds, RVs or garages.
• If you are making any improvements that cost more than $1,000. Examples are commercial billboards/ signs, indoor improvements or outdoor improvements, fences, roofs, siding, driveways, windows or doors.
• If you are demolishing or tearing down any type ofstructure, a Demolition Permit would be required.
