REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Tucker County Commission is seeking bids for Courthouse Improvements to the Tucker County Courthouse, which consists of Solid Pointing of brick at the Right Elevation and where previous repairs have left off at the Front Elevation, remove deteriorated brick at the same and replace with new brick (possibly 100), inspect remainder of courthouse, repoint as necessary, powerwash brick after repairs are made. Mortar joints cut to a depth of one-half inch, filled with a mix of Type N mortar and mason sand and match previous repairs.

Project must be completed by November 30, 2016. Funds for this project are largely provided by a grant from the West Virginia Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority. West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office guidelines must be followed.

Sealed bids must be clearly marked as “2016 Tucker County Courthouse Improvement Bid” and must be received no later than 9:00 AM on March 9, 2016, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
