Interest for Forest Hay Cultivation on USDA Forest Service Land (Pendleton and

Randolph Counties, WV)

The Cheat-Potomac Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest is seeking interest in four (4) separate hay cultivation fields. The permit will prohibit tilling, pesticide use, and chicken litter applications. Access is off public roads. The field size and locations are:

A) 2.5 acres near

Horton, WV

B) 27 acres near Reeds Creek of Franklin, WV

C) 28 acres near WV8 and WV2/2 of Reeds Creek

D) 52.5 acres near

Reeds Creek of Franklin, WV

The minimum annual fee is $22.93 per acre for five consecutive years.
