PUBLIC NOTICE
The WV Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) and Town of Franklin have proposed a settlement of Administrative Consent Order No. 8543 which resolves violation(s) of the WV Water Pollution Control Act and WV Groundwater Protection Act which occurred in Pendleton County, WV. In accordance with the proposed Consent Order, Town of Franklin has agreed to pay administrative penalties and to comply with the Acts. Final settlement is subject to comments received during the thirty (30) day period ending August 13, 2016.
