Limited Partnership, PO Box 159, 228 ABPP Dr., Grant Town, WV 26574 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 198.05 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200904 to Coal Surface Mine in the Washington and Waynesburg “A” seam of coal. The operation is discharging into an unnamed tributary of Moody Run, two unnamed tributaries of Falls Run, and an unnamed tributary of Finches Run, all of Buffalo Creek of Monongahela River and is located 0.5 miles, northwest of Barrackville in Fairmont District of Marion County, Longitude 80˚10’46” and Latitude 39˚31’2” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
