NOTICE OF JUDICIAL SALE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR
DELINQUENT TAXES
Pursuant to the Order for Sale of Real Property for Delinquent Taxes entered by the Tazewell County Circuit Court on April 13, 2022, the undersigned Special Commissioner will offer for sale, pursuant to Section 58.1-3965 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, on April 22, 2022 at 9:00 AM, at the Tazewell County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651, the following described properties for payment of delinquent taxes:
“Lot Number 18, as the same appears upon a map of lots of a part of said town with certificate by Silas M. Smith, dated October 15, 1908, of record in the Clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of Tazewell County, Virginia, in Deed Book 65, page 42, which said lot is bounded and described as follows:
“BEGINNING at a stake in the north line of Second Street, N. 72deg. 45′ E. 183.50 feet from its intersection with the east line of South Street; thence leaving Second Street N. 11deg. 15′ W. 121.90 feet to a stake in the south line of a 15 feet wide alley; thence with the south line of said alley N. 72deg. 40′ E. 48.54 feet to a stake; thence leaving said alley S. 11deg. 15′ E. 121.32 feet to a stake in the north line of Second Street; thence with the north line of Second Street S. 72deg. 45′ W. 48.50 feet to the BEGINNING”
TERMS OF SALE: CASH – ten percent (10%) bidder’s deposit will be required with balance due thirty (30) days from the date of sale, payable by (a) cash, (b) money order, (c) cashier’s check, or (d) certified check.
TERMS OF SALE: MINIMUM BID REQUIRED – a minimum starting bid of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) will be required for purchase.
The property shall be conveyed by Special Warranty of Title free and clear of all liens except 2022 real estate taxes, which shall be prorated. The sale is subject to confirmation by the Tazewell County Circuit Court.
