RIGHT-OF-WAY TIMBER SALE

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Section, offers for sale the following timber on approximately 11.5-acres of the 338-acre Wildlife Center in Upshur County. The purpose of this timber sale is to create a Right-of -way for a secondary fence around the exhibits.

Sealed bids for this timber will be received by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Section, Bids will be received up to and including 10:00 a.m. on August 2, 2024, at the French Creek Wildlife Centers Manager’s Office. Bids will be opened immediately afterwards.
A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid price must accompany the bid and will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.
Minimum acceptable bid shall be $32,743.38. Minimum bid per species must be met.

A conducted inspection of the WMA project area and review of the sale contract will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 12, 2024. All persons interested in this tour should meet at the Wildlife Managers office.
