The City of Parkersburg/Wood County HOME Consortium’s Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) of the program year 2023-2024 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Programs are available for public review. The CAPER outlines expenditures of CDBG and HOME funds during the past program year (July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024) and outlines programs and accomplishments including individual project status.
The CAPER is available for public review in the Development Department on the fifth floor of the Municipal Building, One Government Square. Parkersburg, WV. The CAPER will also be available to view on the City of Parkersburg website under the ‘reports’ section of the Planning and Development webpage beginning on September 18, 2024.
The City will accept comments on the CAPER for a period of fifteen (15) days from the original publication of this notice. The CAPER, as well as any appropriate comments will be sent to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their review. After all public comments have been considered, the CAPER will be submitted to HUD on October 4, 2024.
The city will also hold a public hearing concerning the CAPER on September 25, 2024, at 4:00PM in the Glen Meeks conference room on the 2nd floor of the Municipal Building, One Government Square, Parkersburg, WV.
