On the reading and filing of a verified Petition for an adoption proceeding of a minor child, Liam G., and good cause appearing therefore; now, therefore, IT IS ORDERED:
1. NOTICE IS GIVEN YOU, SAMPSON O’DELL, and to all persons who may be affected or prejudiced by the above specified action, that on January 22, 2025, an Adoption Petition was filed in the Circuit Court of Pendleton County, West Virginia. That on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the hour of 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as counsel can be heard, a hearing will be held on the Adoption Petition in the Courtroom of the Pendleton County Courthouse located at 100 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia 26807. SAMPSON O’DELL your parental rights, if any, may be terminated in the proceeding and that you may appear and defend any such rights within the required time after this service and if you fail to respond within the required time after this service, you may not appear in or receive further notice of the aforementioned adoption proceedings. Additionally, an Order may be entered against you for the relief requested for in the Adoption Petition;
2. A copy of this Order shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in Pendleton County, West Virginia, for two times as required by law; and,
3. A copy of this Order shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in Garrett County, Maryland, for two times as required by law.
