Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the Parkersburg South High School Ball Fields project. The project includes, but is not limited to, all site work and corresponding utilities associated with two new turf and grass ball fields. The scope of work encompasses all components outside of the turf and grass playing field area, including, but not limited to, site grading, underground utilities, roadway, and perimeter fencing. An additional bid for a new restroom and concession stand will be requested. Electronic bid documents will be available on July 11, 2025, at www.pickeringplanroom.com at no cost. Documents can be downloaded for free or hard copies can be ordered for the cost of printing. A Prebid meeting will be held at the Parkersburg South High School Ball Fields located off of Murrays Lane, Parkersburg, WV 26101 on July 16, 2025, at 10:00 am. Bids will be due at 1:00 p.m. on August 8, 2025, at the Wood County Schools Board Office located at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg WV 26101 at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
