NOTICE OF SEALED BID SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
City of Elkins Water Department, Elkins, WV
Notice is hereby given that the Elkins Water Department is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus equipment:
Item 1:2008 F550 Cab and Chassis. It has some mechanical issues with transmission, transfer case, and rear end. VIN: FDAF57R18ED17381. This equipment will be sold as is, and there is no warranty. Full payment must be rendered before the vehicle and title is released. Minimum bid is $3,500.00
Bidder must include a Name, Address, Phone Number, and Bid Amount in a sealed envelope with “Sealed Bid for Surplus Equipment” on the outside of the envelope. A Bid shall be rejected if this information is not provided.
Equipment may be inspected by appointment only during the regular business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting on August 5, 2025, and continuing through August 12, 2025. To schedule an inspection, please contact Elizabeth Roberts at 681-298-5200. The Bid opening will be held at Elkins Water Plant at 192 High St., Elkins, WV, 26241, on August 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The City of Elkins Water Department reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids or to re-solicit for bids if all bids are rejected.
