NOTICE OF FILING AND HEARING
On August 13, 2025, Walsingham Group, Inc. (WGI) applied for a permit from the Commission to operate as a contract carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of solid waste. Specifically, WGI seeks to transport solid waste from the Sugar Grove Research Station, Pendleton County, West Virginia, for disposal. Anyone desiring to make an objection to the application must do so in writing within ten days after the publication of this notice to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. The public may view and comment on the application on the Commission website. Motions to intervene in this proceeding shall be filed within the same ten-day period and shall comply with the Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure. The Commission has scheduled an evidentiary hearing in this matter for November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Franklin Town Hall, 305 High Street, Franklin, West Virgini. In the event no one files a protest, the Commission may waive hearing and grant the permit as requested.
