ADVERTISEMENT TO BID
Sealed bids for Calhoun Homes, Inc., for siding and windows will be received by Calhoun Homes Inc., at 125 Calhoun Homes, Drive, Mount Zion, West Virginia 26147 until 2:00 PM LPT, on September 30, 2025, for the labor and work set forth in the Advertisement to Bid. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work to be bid upon is generally described as Labor to install Siding and Windows for each and all units at Calhoun Homes, Inc.
Construction time limit for the Contract is six (6) months consecutive calendar days to substantial completion.
A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
The Calhoun Homes, Inc., reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basic of race, color, creed or national origin. Federal Law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin religion, age, handicap and sex in this project. Minority firms are particularly encouraged to participate.
Bidders are required to have West Virginia Contractor’s license per Section 21-11-11 of the Wet Virginia Code.
