ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Elkins for selective masonry restoration of the Elkins City Hall in Elkins, West Virginia, until Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, 1:00 P.M. Bids will be due at the Phil Gainer Community Center and will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Elkins City Hall on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, 1:00 P.M.
Beginning September 1 st , Bidding Documents may be viewed free-of-charge at the following locations:

Lee Ave. Ext.29 East Main Street, Suite 4 Elkins, WV 26241 Buckhannon, WV 26201 304-591-1410 304-473-0555 Contractors may obtain Bidding Documents from the office of VanNostrand Architects for a non-refundable fee of $50 each, which will include a hard copy and digital copy of the documents. Any requested postage and shipping will be an additional cost. Bidders will be required to furnish a Bid Bond with their submission, and the successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of bid opening without the consent of the Owner.
The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality, deemed to be in the best interest of the project. The City of Elkins will afford full opportunity for minority-owned business enterprises to respond to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, disability, or national origin in the contract award.
