LEGAL NOTICE
City of Vienna
On November 12, 2015, at 7PM in the Council Chambers of the City of Vienna located at 609 29th St, Vienna, Wood County, West Virginia, the following ordinance will be on the regular agenda for consideration upon second reading the following Ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE THE 2015 REPLACEMENT PAGES TO THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, certain provisions within the Codified Ordinances should be amended to conform with current State law; and
WHEREAS, various ordinances of a general and permanent nature have been passed by Council which should be included in the Codified Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, has heretofore entered into a contract with the Walter H. Drane.
Section 1. The ordinances of the City of Vienna, West Virginia, of a general and permanent nature, as revised, re-codified, rearranged and consolidated into component codes, chapters, articles and sections within the 2015 Replacement Pages to the Codified Ordinances are hereby approved and adopted.
Section 2. The following sections and articles are hereby added, amended or repealed as respectively indicated in order to comply with current State law:
Traffic Code
331.03 Duty to Give Information and Render Aid. (Amended)
333.01 Driving Under the Influence. (Amended)
Art. 334 Open Container Law. (Added)
General Offenses Code
509.11 Criminal Loitering by Persons on Supervised Release. (Added)
509.99 Penalty. (Amended)
521.06 Intoxication or Drinking in Public Places. (Amended)
521.99 Penalty. (Amended)
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
A reasonable number of copies of the ordinances shall be available with the office of the mayor for inspection during regular business hours. Any interested parties ay appear at the at the Vienna City Council meeting and be heard with respect to the above ordinance.
