PUBLIC NOTICE AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that Safeco Service Corporation has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit G40-C to install a portable crusher and portable screen to process stone at the construction site of Ravenswood Microgrid near Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia. The portable units may be used anywhere on the site to crush and screen rock. The latitude and longitude coordinates of the known sites are: 38.908344, and -81.822837. The applicant estimates there will be a change in potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants: PM of 21.62 tons per year (tpy) of which 11.69 tpy is fugitive, PM10 of 8.34 tpy of which 3.58 tpy is fugitive, PM2.5 of 1.17 tpy of which 0.39 tpy is fugitive. The facility will begin operation under the updated permit when the permit is issued on or about the 15th day of February 2026. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
