60th Street Facility
The City of Vienna Streets Department is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a 24’ x 288’ Pole Building and a 60’ x 80’ salt storage building at the Vienna Utility Board’s facility at 210 60th Street in Vienna, WV.
Bidding documents and specifications are available at the office of the Public Works Director, located at the Vienna Utility Board office, 210 60th Street, Vienna, WV 26105.
Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the above address, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of ninety (90) days.
Proposals received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked âSEALED BID ST#16-04.ã
Prospective bidders may contact Craig Metz at (304) 295-4543, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for additional information regarding the bid specifications. Vendors must be registered with the State of West Virginia, have a current contractor’s license, and comply with the Davis Bacon Act, as necessary. If applicable, a City business license must be obtained and City Business and Occupation taxes paid before the final payment is rendered. Prospective bidders must provide a copy of a current WV Business Registration Certificate.
