INVITATION TO BID
The City of Williamstown, WV invites qualified Firms to submit a bid to provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies and services for the Cityás Williamstown Sidewalks (5.00) Project.
All work shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by KCI Technologies, Inc. and the Invitation to Bid. Contract Bidding Documents may be obtained from:

Description of Work
Scope of the project shall include:
- Concrete sidewalks, crosswalks, ADA curb cuts with truncated domes, and street signs. See specification section 01100 Summary for additional information.
- Linear footage of the project:

ó Park Avenue – 1,532 LF
ó W. 5th Street ä 1,080 LF
Bid Security
Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Owner for five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total bid or in lieu of a certified check, a Bid Bond for five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid. Bonds must be issued by a Company licensed to transact surety insurance in West Virginia.
Contractorás License
West Virginia Code Œ 21-11-2 requires that all persons desiring to perform contractual work in West Virginia must be duly licensed. The West Virginia Contractors Licensing Board is empowered to issue the contractorás license. Application for a contractorás license may be made by contacting the West Virginia Division of Labor, Building 6, Room B749, State Capitol Complex, Charleston, West Virginia, 25305. Telephone: (304) 558-7890.
West Virginia Code Œ 21-11-11 requires any prospective Bidder to include the contractorás license number on their bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a copy of their contractorás license prior to issuance of a Purchase Order/Contract.
It shall be the General Contractorás responsibility to ensure that all sub-contractors are duly licensed to perform work with the State of West Virginia.
Qualification of Bidder
The bidder must be pre-qualified to do work with the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways.
Prevailing Wage Rates
The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must pay the higher of the U.S. Department of Labor Minimum Wages Rates or the West Virginia Division of Labor Wage Rates as established for Pendleton County, pursuant to West Virginia Code Œ 21-5A, et seq.
