Separate sealed Bids for construction of the 2015 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT: CONTRACT 2 REBID will be received by the Claywood Park PSD at their office located at 594 Davisville Road, Davisville, WV 26142 (mailing address: P.O. Box 127, Parkersburg, WV 26102-0127) until May 20, 2016 at 10:00 am., local time. At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Method of Bidding will be as follows:
CONTRACT #2- Water Storage Tanks: Unit price contract to construct one (1) water storage tank measuring 39 feet in diameter by 47 feet in height to the overflow with a nominal volume of 421,000 gallons (Dutch Ridge), and one (1) water storage tank measuring 42 feet in diameter by 51 feet in height to the overflow with a nominal volume of 531,000 gallons (Transfer Tank), fencing at both sites as well as at the existing Kanawha Transfer Tank site:, sitework, site piping, mobilization, demolition (Dutch Ridge), and all necessary appurtenances.

If printed documents are mailed, a non-refundable $20.00 postage and handling charge will be added.
A five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) Bid Bond or certified cashierás check must accompany all Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
DBE REQUIREMENTS
Each Bidder must fully comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions as set forth in the contract documents to achieve Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation during the performance of this contract. The bidder commits itself to the program for DBE participation and all other requirements, terms, and conditions of the bid conditions by submitting a properly signed bid.
The bidder agrees to make âgood faith effortsã to sub-contract a portion of the total value of the contract to Disadvantaged businesses. This shall be done in compliance with the six (6) good faith efforts as outlined in 40 CFR 31.36(e). Failure to demonstrate good faith efforts may lead to rejection of bids. For the purpose of this program, the term âsubcontractorã includes all construction, modification, and service work contracted for by the bidder in the execution of the work under this contract.
NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT
âBidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidentás Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.ã
Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the state and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. Bidders must comply with Article 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code by including their contractorás license number on any bid submission.
