LEGAL NOTICE – BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 8A, ARTICLE 24 OF THE CODE OF WEST VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, AND THE PARKERSBURG ZONING ORDINANCE A-2530 AS ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 1973, THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., ON MAY 19, 2021, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPEALS:
1. Owner: DSJMJ LLC and Applicant, James Lee Hall
Requesting a conditional use to operate a Sober Living Facility located at 1206 Lynn Street, in an R-4 District, and to be excused from the parking requirement for this facility, as none of the 6 tenants will be owning cars.
2. Owner: Gary Traugh and Applicant, John Dickel (purchasing on land contract)
Requesting a conditional use to operate a duplex located at 611 Bird Street, in a B-2 District. He will be purchasing or leasing the adjacent empty lot for off-street parking for tenants.
