AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that The Chemours Company FC, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Class II Administrative Permit for Process T6 – a polymer Manufacturing process, located on The Chemours Washington Works Facility at 8480 DuPont Road, Washington WV near Parkersburg in Wood County, West Virginia. The altitude and longitude coordinates are:39 16 10.758, -81 40 4.560 [WGS-1984]
The applicant estimates the Increased potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: Total Suspended Particulate +0.09 tons/year, Particulate Matter (less than 10 micron) +0.09 tons/year.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of September 2021. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
