DODDRIDGE COUNTY COMMISSION
COURTHOUSE PARKING, PAVING & SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Sealed bids for the Courthouse Parking, Paving & Sidewalk Project will be received by the Doddridge County Commission, until 3 p.m., local time on October 15, 2015, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
This project involves the demolition of existing concrete pavements, construction of new concrete curb, sidewalk and steps, storm drainage structures and piping, segmental retaining wall, installation of asphalt pavements for two parking lots, milling and asphalt overlay on streets surrounding the Courthouse and other miscellaneous site elements.
A pre-bid will be held October 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Courthouse.

Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by contacting E. L, Robinson Engineering, 5088 Washington Street, West, Charleston, WV 25313 at 304-776-7473. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required for each set. There will be an additional charge for priority overnight delivery based on actual cost.
Bids shall be submitted to the attention of the Doddridge County Commission, 118 east Court Street, West Union, WV 26456. Bids may not be modified or withdrawn for a period of 60 days after receipt of Bids without forfeiture of Bid security, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages. A five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) Bid Bond or certified cashierás check must accompany all bids.
Bidders on this work shall be required to comply with the Presidentás Executive Order No. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or physical disability, and bidders shall also comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standards Act.
Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, Indicates, and acknowledges that he/she holds a current WV Contractorás License on the date of the bid opening, and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the Stale and subdivision in which the work Is to be performed and acknowledges the guidelines of all applicable State and Federal Regulations
The Doddridge County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein.
