ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Wood County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for Entrance Renovations To The Wood County Courthouse Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Wood County Commission, located at No. 1 Courthouse Square, Suite 205, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101 until 11:00 am local time, on March 3, 2016 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read.
Prequalification of Bidders is required for this project and the required submittal information and submittal form are bound in the Project Manual portion of the Bidding Documents. Prequalification submittals are required at a separate date given in the Project Manual described above.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time, on February 18, 2016 at the Wood County Courthouse. Attendance at pre-bid conference is mandatory for prime bidders only.
Bidding Documents can be obtained by one of the following methods:
- Prime Contract Bidders only may contact ZMM, Inc. Architects and Engineers at (304) 342-0159 and request information to access the firm’s online F.T.P. site for the Entrance Renovations To The Wood County Courthouse project. Once access is gained, Contractors can download Bidding Documents in the form of PDF files at no charge.
- Hard Copies may be obtained from Charleston Blueprint (304-343-1063) by General Contractors, Subcontractors, material suppliers and dealers by paying the actual cost of printing, binding and mailing; however such cost is not refundable.

The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a corporate surety bond in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bond shall be paid by the bidder.
