MAIN STREET, SUITE 2000, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase 2 release on Permit Number S304191 Increment Number 7 issued for 10 acres and a Phase 2 release on Permit Number S304191 Increment Number 3 issued for 37 acres.
The permit is located in Valley District of Fayette County, 4.32 miles southwest of Powellton (nearest PO) on Right Fork and Laurel Branch of Armstrong Creek; Laurel Branch, Unknown Branch, Hickory Camp Branch and Unnamed Tributaries of Paint Creek, all of Upper Kanawha River.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed revegetation for Increment 7 on 03/12/2026 and is requesting release of 25 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $10,000.00.
