Farmland Protection Board
The Pendleton County Farmland Protection Board is accepting proposals for an Executive Director contract position. The ED will administer the Farmland Protection Program under advisement of the Board, including the following roles and duties: organize all the due diligence to complete a farmland protection easement, conduct annual easement monitoring, be up-to-date with best practices and state and federal rule changes, represent the board at state association meetings, organize Board meetings, and conduct education and outreach related to the program.
