TO:Any and All People Claiming Parental Rights to James Levi-Anthony Halstead and William Hastings Milam
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Petition for Adoption has been filed in the Circuit Court of Fayette County, West Virginia, seeking the adoption of the above-named minor children pursuant to the provisions of West Virginia Code § 48-22-101, et seq.
A hearing on said Petition is scheduled before the Honorable W. E. Sam Fox, II, Judge of the Circuit Court of Fayette County, West Virginia, at the Fayette County Courthouse Annex, 100 Church Street, Fayetteville, West Virginia, on April 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard.
You are hereby notified that your parental rights, if any, to the above-named children may be terminated in this proceeding.
You are further notified that you must file a written objection or response with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Fayette County, West Virginia, within thirty (30) days from the date of the first publication of this Notice, or you may lose the right to further notice of these proceedings and your parental rights may be permanently terminated.
If you fail to timely respond, the Court may proceed to grant the adoption and terminate your parental rights without further notice to you.
