Invitation to Bid
The Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport is requesting bids to mow grass at the airport.
There will be a pre-bid meeting will be held  10 AM, Thursday March 5, 2020 at the airport FBO office located at 1150 Airport Rd(across from Copper House Grille) Pleasant Valley, WV.
1. Contract will be for three years
2. Successful bidder will have adequate manpower and equipment to complete the mowing and trimming within an 8 hour period.
3. Contractor required to have liability insurance in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) naming the airport as Additional Insured.
4. Contractor will have Workers Compensation insurance in the amount of State of WV requirements.
5. Contractor will have a State of WV Business License and City of Pleasant Valley Business License.
6. Airport will spray all lights and reflectors 2ft around the lights. A map showing areas to be mowed will be furnished at the pre-bid meeting.
7. Contractor will manage the intervals of mowing to allow for dry weather when grass is not growing normally.
8. Contractor will have prior experience mowing large commercial areas.  Three references for prior jobs will be furnished with the bid.
9.  Contractor will observe all safety procedures established by the FAA and Airport.
