INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Pendleton County Courthouse Exterior Renovation Project at Franklin, WV, will be received in the Pendleton County Commission Office, Pendleton County Courthouse, Franklin, West Virginia, on Monday April 2, 2018 until 4:30 p.m.

All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to:

The project involves the exterior renovation of the existing Courthouse. Renovations will include column replacement, front stair replacement, exterior painting and masonry repairs.

Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to Rachel Driggs [email protected] and a Bid Package will be sent out. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are non-refundable.

A certified check in the amount of five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.

The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the contract award.

All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on March 20, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pendleton County Commission Office located in the Pendleton County Courthouse, Franklin, West Virginia. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification.

After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. 3-8-2c
