NOTICE OF JUDICIAL SALE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR
DELINQUENT TAXES

Pursuant to the Order for Sale of Real Property for Delinquent Taxes entered by the Tazewell County Circuit Court on April 13, 2022, the undersigned Special Commissioner will offer for sale, pursuant to Section 58.1-3965 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, on April 22, 2022 at 9:00 AM, at the Tazewell County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651, the following described properties for payment of delinquent taxes:

All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the Town of Richlands, in Tazewell County, Virginia, designated and known as Lot No. Twenty-four (24), as shown and described by metes and bounds on that certain plat entitled, “AMENDED MAP OF CITY VIEW HEIGHTS, SU BDIVISION OF THE 4.64 ACRE TRACT INTO LOTS BY J.K. McFARLANE”, with certificate by J.K. McFarlane and wife, dated the 28th day of August, 1953, which certificate is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Tazewell County, Virginia, in Deed Book 217, page 423 and which plat is of record in the said Clerk’s Office in Plat Book 1, page 63 and Plat Card No. 1963; =specific reference to which said plat and certificate is here made for a more particular description of the real estate herein conveyed.

TERMS OF SALE: CASH – ten percent (10%) bidder’s deposit will be required with balance due thirty (30) days from the date of sale, payable by (a) cash, (b) money order, (c) cashier’s check, or (d) certified check.

TERMS OF SALE: MINIMUM BID REQUIRED – a minimum starting bid of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) will be required for purchase.

The property shall be conveyed by Special Warranty of Title free and clear of all liens except 2022 real estate taxes, which shall be prorated. The sale is subject to confirmation by the Tazewell County Circuit Court.
