NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE PROPOSED FINANCING
OF EQUIPMENT BY THE
MULLENS VOLUNTEER
FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC.

Notice is hereby given that the Mullens Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (the “Issuer”) will meet on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at their station for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the Issuer enter into a leasepurchase agreement with Country Roads Leasing, LLC in order to finance One (1) 2009 GMC/KME Mini-Pumper Truck, said equipment is to be located at their station at 200 Early Street, Mullens, WV 25882.

To finance the costs of the equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the Issuer proposes to enter into a lease-purchase agreement in the maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $78,000.00. The Issuer will be required to pay all expenses of operating, maintaining and insuring the equipment. The rental payments due pursuant to the lease-purchase agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.

All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Fire Chief of the Issuer prior to the date of the hearing set forth hereinabove.
