In accordance with West Virginia State Code, Concord University announces that it will conduct a public sale of surplus items by sealed written bid. The items to be disposed of by this sale can be viewed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (work days only) at the Woodell Building. The items to bid on are 1 Lot of 4 Black Bookshelves, 1 Lot of 23 Chairs (Wood Frame/Light Gray Fabric), 1 Lot of Booths with Tables (8 booths, 8 tables, and 8 chairs), Piano (Bench Included), 1 Lot of 4 Brass Chandeliers (10 extra globes included), 1 Lot of 4 Boxes (Oil Filters, Air Filters, Etc.), 1 Lot of 3 Tables (Magazine table with lamp and coffee table), 1 Lot of Two-tier gray desks, 1 Lot of 14 Wine Leather Chairs with Casters, 1 Lot of 41 Dining Tables (Miscellaneous sizes and colors), 1 Lot of 109 Dining Chairs (Miscellaneous Colors), 1 Lot of Approx. 75-80 Vintage Dining Chairs, Showcase with Five Shelves, Walnut Table, True Club Top Draft Beer Cooler, Table with two drawers, Frigidaire Electric Range, NU-VU Oven, Wooden Oak Desk, Whirlpool Refrigerator, GE Electric Range, Fireplace Screen, 1 Lot of 4 Dark Brown Granite Slabs (Variety of sizes), 1 Lot of 3 Tan Granite Slabs (Variety of sizes), Merrychef Microwave, True Club Top Draft Beer Cooler, Stainless Steel Prep Table, and a 2003 Ford Ranger. Bid forms are available at the Woodell Building. All bid forms MUST BE SIGNED and DATED. Written Bids clearly marked Concord University ATTN: Andrea Webb PO Box 1000 Athens WV 24712 will be accepted ONLY until 2:00 p.m. on June 15, 2022, in Concord University Procurement Office (Marsh Hall, Room A223). Bids will be awarded to the highest bidder. The successful bidder will be contacted and will be required to pay by June 17,2022 with removal of purchased items by June 24, 2022.
The prospective buyer is responsible for verifying quality and quantity before removing the product. The successful bidder is responsible for all moving and freight costs. The successful bidder will be responsible for dismantling if required, wrapping and preparing for transport.
CONCORD UNIVERSITY REQUIRES CASH OR CASHIER’S CHECK FOR PAYMENT FOR SURPLUS ITEMS. THE UNIVERSITY WILL NOT ACCEPT A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD FOR PAYMENT. NOTE: ALL SURPLUS ITEMS NOT PAID FOR OR REMOVED FROM THE CONCORD CAMPUS BY JUNE 24, 2022 WILL VOID AN AWARDED BID AND NO REFUND OF PAYMENT(S) WILL BE AUTHORIZED FOR VOIDED BID(S).
